It is known for its produce of wheat, grain, and other vegetables, as well as various fruits and herbs that grow in the region. They are a large distributor of crops and goods for [[Fyrêt]]. <br> ## Description Aronstead is a sprawling village that bears no more than 150 residents. Each share their own solemn difficulties in the cloudy region of Axonder, but work hard side-by-side to make sure their village thrives above all the rest. The vast majority of their territory holds farmland as well as housing and farmhouses for people to work. The village is rarely visited by travelers and merchants, but are often quick stops for such people on their way to Fyrêt.   <br> <br> ## Points of Interest #### Marigold Inn ... A small inn bearing only a couple of rooms, and often frequented by villagers at dusk or in the morning for breakfast and coffee, or dinner and booze. The rooms are scarcely used, due to few travelers, but are decently furnished for those who do. The inn is named after the copious marigold flowers that tend to litter the fields around the area and is run by a young woman named Marigold. Their biggest selling point is their decent, and cheap, alcohol brewed using marigolds.  <br> #### Rose Maidens ... A wondrous brothel owned by a tiefling woman with ruby-red skin known as Madam Rose. It is by no means an extravagant building, but the floral scent and incense are enough to draw comfort from anyone. In her employ are four women she lovingly refers to as her "flowers;" a human named Petunia, a halfling named Lily, a half-orc named Star, and an arachnoid named Zinnia. Within the shadows of the brothel is a minotaur guard under her employ, too, named Oleander.   <br> <br> ## Society #### Notable people ... - [[Sirus Zyrlkos]]: The reeve of the village, and a capable [[tiefling]] fighter. - Asmond Zyrlkos: Cousin of Sirus and in charge of the farming within the village. - [[Marigold]]: Owner of the Marigold Inn and a simple [[human]] woman with a slight accent. - Lilon: A human pastor in charge of the village church, dedicated to the Maiden. - [[Madam Rose]]: Ruby-skinned tiefling woman and owner of a brothel called _Rose Maidens_. <br> <br> ## History Two generations ago, a green-skinned [[tiefling]] man known as Arōn settled down in this region and built a homestead beside his wife and family. Over time, they brought in many people in need of shelter and unity until becoming a full-fledged village. It's said that Arōn himself engraved the earth around the village with some sort of magic circle that aided their farmland in prosperous growth. During this time, the nearby city, Fyrêt, offered its protection and service in exchange for crops and fruits, and in the process its leader took on the surname of Zyrlkos, to sit among the lesser nobility of Axonder. However, Arōn never elaborated upon what the spell truly was. Because of this, Aronstead is typically referred to as a farmland "that defies reality." In the year 730 P.D., the village is co-led by two tiefling men known as Sirus and Asmond. And on this year, faced a sudden, gruesome outbreak of the Sombre—facing multiple casualties before being passed several mercenaries and nobles of Axonder who either helped or ran. However, in the month of Cyswinne, a group of nobility arrived to offer their aid.
