That light, blinding yet welcoming. A warmth that drives us forward. "</div> **Aeon Umbrael Axonder** is a luxael, or high elf, who rules as the current king of the [[Kingdom of Axonder]]. He's the first king of his kingdom, and known amongst his people as the king who liberated them from the iron-clad rule of Sorathane many centuries ago. ## Appearance A tall, fair-skinned elven man with near-platinum blond hair and crystalline purple eyes. His hair parts at his widow's peak and falls in straight, messy waves down his back and shoulders, an equal part loose and as pulled back. Although his expression seems hardened and stern, his eyes and brows are tilted upwards in softness. Even his presence beside Aurora makes him radiate. However, in the current age, his skin has become far more gaunt and his hair falls in messy, tangled locks. ## Personality ☽ *sociable* • *amiable* • *driven* • *endearing* • *harmonic* • *keen* • *inspiring* • *horribly optimistic* ☾ Having once led a revolution and civil war centuries ago, his prowess in authority and leadership is seldom scoffed at. His knowledge of music and the arts is so profound that he is able to weave magic from as little as an ordinary tune. Although in a weakened state now, he was a man of incredible strength and charisma, fighting by his brawn, brains, and eloquence. Even in the darkest times, his smile and contagious positivity found its way into the hearts and minds of others. Truly the light and motivation of Axonder. ## Biography #### The Past ... ( ~405 P.D. ) A rebellion rose within the [[Holy Kingdom of Sorathane]], spawned of its poorly treated nobility and those who felt restricted within their walls; One that later became the [[War of Light and Shadow]], of which Aeon was but a young elf for and only far later into the war did he become a leader of. By his hand and leadership, he helped lead this war into victory... One that became less of righting the corrupted Kingdom, but rather find sanctuary where all could live in peace and union. These shifted values and having worn the Kingdom of Sorathane down enough to at least aid their venture, Aeon and those who now followed him took to the world in pursuit of a greater land. A truly holy land within the dark skies East of the [[Kingdom of Ithor]]. There, he became their king. There, he became their light within the darkness... ✶ #### Present Day ... ( 720 P.D. ) Aeon has fallen ill. A sickness that began in normality that slowly began to deteriorate his strength and willpower each year until now where he has fallen completely bedridden. Having relinquished his duties unto his wife, Aurora, he now lays dormant in his bedchamber within the [[Palais de Lumière]]. That was until the year 730 P.D. during his daughter's coming-of-age celebration, the Ceremony of Veil, in which he used his dormant magic to erect a blinding magic circle within the courtyard to dispell the Sombre and its darkened creatures that were tethered to the space.
